Beatriz Plágaro is an international higher education professional with experience in international engagement, partnerships, admissions, marketing and communications. She currently serves as International Engagement and Partnership Coordinator at the University of Navarra, alongside her role coordinating admissions for Asia and the United Kingdom. In these roles, she works closely with students, families, schools, universities and educational partners across different international markets.
Her professional career has taken her across Spain, the United Kingdom and China, including several years in Beijing. This international experience has provided her with a strong understanding of diverse educational systems, international student recruitment and cross-cultural communication. Beatriz is actively involved in the international admissions and counselling community. She is a member of the International ACAC community, representing Region 5 (Europe and Central Asia), and has participated in professional conferences and initiatives including IACAC and CISA.
With a background in marketing, communications, production and sales, Beatriz combines strategic communication skills with extensive international experience. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has professional knowledge of Chinese. She is passionate about building meaningful connections and creating opportunities for collaboration across the global higher education community.
