Results documentation
Statement of results
On the day of results release students worldwide receive an electronic statement of results from their school which they could submit if required by the university they are applying to. Universities can verify these results using Cambridge International Direct.
Priority results
We offer candidates an optional priority results service that they can apply and pay for by completing the 'Results and certificates - form 9 (PDF, 2MB)'. This service ensures that their results are sent electronically to your institution on the day they are released.
A few months before we release exam results, we will notify institutions about how to receive priority results. If your institution is registered to use Direct, we will automatically send priority results to the ‘My Messages’ section of your account on the same day of the results release, unless you opt to receive hard copy results. This means you do not have to enter the candidates’ data manually to verify priority results on Direct. For students who have not requested priority results, you can continue to verify their results on Direct in the usual way.
Certification
We send certificates to schools up to eight weeks after results are released. This is to allow time for us to resolve any enquiries about results. The certificates confirm the candidates’ results as final.
You can view samples of our current results certificates and statements of results on our website, as well as past examples.
Certifying Statements
Our Results team can provide certifying statements to students who have lost their certificates, which shows the subject taken and the grade awarded. Information on how students can apply for this service is available on our Certificates page. They can ask us to send their certifying statement directly to any public institution.
