Certificates

Lost certificates

If you have lost your exam results certificate, or need another copy of your results, we can issue you with a certifying statement. If you would like to receive a certifying statement, please complete the application form below.

The form explains what you need to do before we can send a certifying statement either directly to you or to any public institution. The certifying statement shows all grades, except ‘UNGRADED’ ’NO RESULT’ ’PENDING’ or ‘TO BE ISSUED’ results, obtained by the candidate at a single examination series.

A certifying statement will be accepted by universities and other institutions as proof of your examination results. Correctly submitted applications will be dealt with within four weeks of receipt.

Certificate amendment requests

It is very important that your school or centre submits the correct personal details for you at the time they make exam entries. This helps to avoid any problems arising from incorrect names or dates of birth on certificates. Please ask the exams officer at your school or centre if you can check the Statement of Entry once they have made examination entries for you.

Your certificate or certifying statement is issued in your name at the time the award is made. Replacement certificates or certifying statements will not be provided to accommodate a subsequent name change.

All requests for amendments to final certificates issued within the last 18 months must be referred to the centre where you sat your examinations. The centre will be able to provide advice and guidance for all further queries relating to this matter.

For amendment requests to final certificates issued outside the last 18 months, you will need to apply for a certifying statement. Please ensure that it is clear that you are requesting an amendment to information on your existing certificate when completing the 'Additional notes' section of the online application form.

Please note that all requests received by Cambridge International are considered on a case by case basis and we cannot at this stage guarantee the outcome.
