Who can join

The council is open to students aged 16+ who are studying at a registered Cambridge International School worldwide.

Suitable for curious, thoughtful learners who want to share opinions and listen to others, and students interested in education, global issues and the future of learning.

No prior experience needed. This is about contributing your perspective; we believe every voice matters, and every Cambridge learner is welcome.

What you can expect

• No lengthy applications - no applications, interviews or leadership credentials required – just interest, ideas and a willingness to take part. Parental consent is required for participation.
• A variety of activities - you will be invited to share views through activities including online research, small virtual focus groups on specific themes, panel discussions and expert-led Q&As. You don’t need to be an expert.
• On your terms - you can take part in one activity or contribute multiple times over the year, depending on your interests and availability. You will be able to indicate the topics and themes you are interested in on the sign-up form. Some activities might only take a few minutes; others might last an hour.
• A welcoming environment - all activities are structured, age-appropriate, and moderated, with clear facilitation and purpose. All activity is aligned with safeguarding, privacy and data protection requirements.
