Joanna Cięciwa has been involved in the internationalisation of higher education for over 25 years.
As part of her professional duties, she coordinates the recruitment process of foreign candidates for studies.
She co-creates and implements procedures and solutions that support intercultural communication and the development of AGH University’s internationalisation, particularly within first- and second-cycle degree studies as well as within mobility programmes.
She has been co-responsible for the implementation of national projects at AGH University, including the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s system project: ‘Support for the management of the recruitment process of foreign students in Polish universities’ and the National Agency for Academic Exchange’s project ‘Welcome to Poland’.
She actively contributes to the implementation of the Erasmus Without Paper project, in the field of incoming students. Also, she assists AGH University faculties in signing agreements with other universities within double-degree diplomas / joint education programmes in content-related matters.
