The Hague Apostille is a simplified legalisation procedure to certify the authenticity of an official document. It replaces the otherwise complex legalisation processes that are required for such purposes, which usually involve several authorities. The Apostille is issued by only one competent authority in the country of origin of the document.
If you are studying in Spain, your school may help obtain the Apostille. Cambridge International also provides a service to obtain the Hague Apostille on a Certifying Statement but we encourage you to search independently for a local specialised agent. The British Embassy / Consulate in your country, the British Council, or independent service providers may be able to help.
To request Cambridge International’s service, please apply for a Certifying Statement (PDF, 647KB) and tick the last box 'Additional notarisation and legalisation fee'.
