Cambridge O Level Bengali (3204)

Cambridge O Level Bengali is designed for learners who already have a working knowledge of the language and who want to consolidate their understanding in order to progress in their education or career. Through their studies, learners gain an understanding of how to use Bengali effectively in the type of situations that they will encounter in their daily lives in Bengali-speaking environments.

Important information icon

In 2018 we published a revised syllabus for Cambridge O Level Bengali 3204. The revised assessment for first examination in 2021 included Listening and Speaking components.

Since publishing the revised syllabus, new information has emerged. As a result, we are extending the availability of the syllabus for examination until June 2023. The revised syllabus published in 2018 (for assessment in 2021), which included the Listening and Speaking components, will no longer be available. You can download a copy of the syllabus that you must teach for assessment in 2021, 2022 and 2023 below.

Syllabus availability

From 2020 this syllabus will only be available in administrative zones 3 and 4. Check the administrative zone for your school.
