Parkside Middle School in Prince William County School District, Virginia, USA became a Cambridge International School in 2013. After years of successful Cambridge implementation, Parkside has taken the next step in its Cambridge evolution by becoming a Cambridge Professional Development Centre, our first centre of this kind in the USA. It means Parkside’s faculty can now offer Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications, quality assured by Cambridge, to other educators in the county.
Mary Jane Boyton, Principal at Parkside Middle School, said: 'We applied for this designation in order to offer our faculty specific and customized training to enrich their professional learning. Our students will benefit from our best practices in teaching and learning,'
