School leaders from around the world have gathered in Cambridge, UK this week for the face-to-face Cambridge Schools Conference. Two days of expert keynotes, breakout sessions and debate on how education must adapt for a changing world were opened by Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education at Cambridge who set out the value of a Cambridge qualification, announced a new AI partnership with Professor Rose Luckin and Educate Ventures Research, and made the case that teachers, far from being made obsolete by AI, remain more essential than ever.
