The process for selection for each grade is as follows:

Overall score
Score on the English language Test 
1. (If still tied) the score on the reading component in English
2. (If still tied) the score on the grammar component in English
Score on the Thinking Skills Test
1. (If still tied) the score on the critical thinking component in Thinking Skills

If candidates’ scores are still tied, the younger candidate will be ranked higher.
