Future-ready: preparing learners to thrive
Education plays a key role in helping learners navigate future opportunities and challenges. We believe that, through meaningful conversation with our Cambridge community, we can inspire learners to see the future as an exciting opportunity that they can play an active role in shaping.
Our July 2026 Cambridge Schools Conference in Cambridge, UK, invites educators to explore how we can equip learners with the knowledge, self-management and communication skills they need to thrive.
Through a rich programme of keynotes, workshops and discussions, we will explore how balancing knowledge and skills development, including critical and ethical thinking, can build adaptability and a love of learning.
We will consider how self-management skills, such as executive functioning, help learners respond to global challenges. We’ll also look at how communication and relationships support meaningful connection and collaboration. As artificial intelligence reshapes how we live and learn, we will reflect on how education can prepare learners to engage with emerging technologies thoughtfully and ethically.
As a global community shaped by diverse contexts and educational approaches, we are proud of the perspectives we bring together. This conference is designed to equip educators with strategies that help learners not only face the future but thrive within it.
