Learners develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the culture of Pakistan, its historical roots and political development into a modern global nation. They also build a deep understanding and appreciation of Pakistan’s physical and human environment, and an awareness of the relationship of this environment with its economic and social development.
Students develop future-ready skills of handling information, analysis, evaluation, communication and making judgements. They will study historical, political and cultural topics through the lens of core concepts such as significance, causation and consequence, continuity and change including similarity and difference. They will examine important contemporary debates on key environmental issues and address the implications of these for Pakistan.
