Getting started with climate change education
Did you know that we developed a guide to help school leaders and teachers with climate change education? ‘Getting started with climate change education’ links research with practical ideas to help school leaders and teachers embed it across the curriculum.
Embedding climate change education throughout the Cambridge Pathway
Our aligned approach across curriculum, assessment, teaching & learning and resources means that relevant climate change education is being integrated throughout the Cambridge Pathway, reaching all stages of school curricula. We have also recently published a new Climate Change Education Framework for schools (PDF, 1MB).
Helping to educate engineers of the future in a climate changed world
With Cambridge Zero we have published ‘Empowering engineers of the future to tackle climate change’. This report has been developed by engineering and education experts and describes ways to upskill and motivate school-age students to become engineers ready to work in a climate-changed world.
Amplifying students’ voices
Talking about climate change is the most powerful thing we can do, and we are committed to providing opportunities for students to speak about climate change and highlight how climate change education is inspiring their journeys from awareness to action.
Climate action weeks provide an ideal forum to hold these conversations publicly, and we have recently held events as part of London Climate Action Week and Rio Climate Action where six students from around the world have shared powerful perspectives on the importance of tackling the climate crisis together.
