How to recognise a Cambridge school
Cambridge schools are part of a global community working to prepare students for success in our changing world.
All schools offering Cambridge qualifications must demonstrate their eligibility to do so by successfully registering with us. Registered schools gain access to a unique range of teaching and learning resources, professional development opportunities – and a world-class curriculum and wide range of qualifications for 5 to 19 year olds.
You can check the ‘Find a School’ page to verify registered Cambridge International Schools.

Confirming the status of registered Cambridge schools
We provide registered Cambridge schools with a certificate and a wall plaque. This confirms their status as a Cambridge school. We also provide Cambridge schools with a customer logo that reflects the type of customer they are. They can use this logo in their own communications such as brochures, websites, advertisements and posters.
Only organisations registered with us can use our customer logo. We investigate all reports of unauthorised or improper use of our logo. If you believe that a school or organisation is using our logo without our permission, please contact us at info@cambridgeinternational.org.
You can make sure an online school is registered with us and approved to offer our programmes and qualifications by checking our list of approved online schools. If an online school is not on this list it is not approved to offer our programmes and qualifications. It is important that you check this list or contact our Customer Services team to confirm the status of any online school you are interested in, as some online schools may promote a connection to Cambridge that does not exist, for example, through their name, logo or information on their website. If an online school is not approved by us and claims to have a connection with us, you cannot be sure that they meet our quality registration standards.
Information for private candidates
If a student does not attend a Cambridge school, they can still enter our exams as a private candidate.
We work in conjunction with the British Council to offer our exams to private candidates. There are also some Cambridge schools that accept private candidates. Cambridge and the British Council do not offer any tuition or support to candidates beyond making entries and ensuring the exam is delivered as required.
We are not able to provide advice and guidance to private candidates as our resources are developed to support our schools. However private candidates can find our syllabuses and other curriculum material on our website under each subject listing.
Our publishing partners produce a wide range of resources. These resources support learning in the classroom, and do not replace classroom learning. They are available to purchase from the publishers and their agents. Other materials, such as examiner reports, example candidate responses, schemes of work, past papers and discussion forums are available to registered Cambridge schools.
Only Cambridge approved schools have teachers with access to the support needed to successfully deliver our qualifications. Please be wary of any provider who cannot supply a Cambridge Centre number and certificate to confirm their status as a registered Cambridge school.
