Now that the June 2025 exam series has ended, many of this year’s Cambridge International AS & A Level students are thinking about their next steps – particularly their university options.
The good news for Cambridge students is that they have an exciting range of pathways to pursue higher education. Cambridge International AS & A Levels are accepted and valued by over 2,350 universities in 90 countries, giving students the flexibility to study at top-ranked institutions at home or overseas.
Plus, with an increasing number of English-taught courses being offered worldwide – including in Germany, Japan and The Netherlands – new destinations are emerging for students who have studied their subjects in English.
There's still time to apply
For students who are still deciding on the right course, it is not too late to apply. Some application windows are still open for the next academic year – mainly in private universities or at public universities in countries such as Canada, UK and Australia.
We work closely with universities worldwide to help us support students on their academic journeys and open doors to global opportunities. Universities in some countries have told us they are still accepting applications for the 2025/26 academic year, but students need to act quickly.
