Online marking workshops are recommended for teachers who have attended Introductory training and/or have been teaching Cambridge programmes and qualifications for at least one year or one exam cycle. During the workshop teachers will engage with recent candidate responses to build confidence in their understanding of the assessment criteria.
Before you start this course it is important for you to have a good understanding of the assessment related to this syllabus. This includes the assessment objectives, the application of mark schemes and the structure of the papers.
Online marking workshops are 3 weeks long and focus on the following:
Teachers should expect to spend 3 - 5 hours a week on the course.
Successful completion of the course is based on participation in collaborative activities with teachers from around the world. The discussions and activities each week are in groups. We recommend that teachers access the course every day.
This training will be delivered in English. All candidates should have English language competence comparable to Level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We recomend a minimum requirement of 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System. Further information may be obtained through the Council of Europe website.
Information including how to make bookings and cancellations can be found on the Training section of the Cambridge International help pages.
