Keep up to date with news from Cambridge and its schools around the world.
This is to inform you about Cambridge Assessment International Education’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak and specifically about the impact on the June examination series for Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level examinations. We have established a working group of senior staff and leaders to co-ordinate our response to the situation and closely monitor current developments involving COVID-19. We are also working closely with our schools in affected countries to support staff and students at this difficult time. Our priorities continue to be the safety and wellbeing of students and staff at Cambridge schools, their education, and the integrity of our examinations.
We are not planning to reschedule the examinations, but we will continue to review the situation. If it becomes clear that running examinations in a country or territory is not possible, we will consult with affected schools and take appropriate steps. We already have a number of processes and options to support schools affected by circumstances outside their control. You can find our general guidance here.
In order to keep our schools, the higher education sector and other key stakeholders up to date with our approach, we have created a webpage with details of plans and answers to frequently asked questions that we hope will be useful. We will continue to update this page as the situation evolves and encourage you to check this periodically
If you have any questions about our approach, then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your continued interest and ongoing support for Cambridge learners and schools in affected countries.
