Why did you choose to study Cambridge International qualifications?

“I chose to take Cambridge International qualifications because it was an opportunity that my school gave me. I thought the qualifications would enrich my education and give me recognition internationally.”

Do you think that Cambridge International qualifications are recognised and valued by universities?

“Yes – I think taking Cambridge International qualifications shows that you have a good level of English and that you are disciplined, as you must study a lot to take the exams.”

Did studying Cambridge International qualifications give you any advantage at university?

“Yes – Cambridge International qualifications taught me the discipline needed to study for an exam that has a lot of content and is high stakes. This helped me when I started taking exams at university because Cambridge exams are relatively similar to mid-terms or final exams. “I studied for Cambridge IGSCE Mathematics (Extended level), so I finished school with a good level of maths, which really helped me in my first year of university. Also, taking Cambridge International qualifications gave me the opportunity to improve my English, especially my writing.”

Would you recommend studying Cambridge International qualifications to students who would like to go to university?

“Yes. I think it’s a challenge that prepares you for university.”

Do you think your Cambridge International qualifications have benefitted your career?

“Yes - I work at PwC, a multinational company. My Cambridge International qualifications have helped me because I work for clients who from the United States, and in teams integrated with people from all over the world, so I need to communicate in English most of the time. I have managed well with my English skills, and I believe a big reason for that is my Cambridge International qualifications.”
