Meeting government ministers, organising a local river clean-up project and writing to the United Nations about climate change, are just some of the activities learners are pursuing through the Cambridge O Level Global Perspectives course.
Cambridge O Level Global Perspectives is a groundbreaking and stimulating course that stretches across traditional subject boundaries and develops transferable skills. This new course is both cross-curricular and skills-based and taps into the way learners of today enjoy learning, including team work, presentations, projects, and working with other learners around the world. The emphasis is on developing the ability to think critically about a range of global issues where there is always more than one point of view. This syllabus is available to centres in Administrative Zone 4 only.
The syllabus year refers to the year in which the examination will be taken.
From November 2020 you will need to prepare and submit work to us using eSubmission for component 02. This includes removing the need to submit an attendance register or declaration of originality as these will now be handled within the eSubmission system For more information refer to the Administrative guide for subjects using eSubmission 2020. Component 03 must be submitted via Secure Exchange and not eSubmission. For more information refer to the Administrative guide for subjects using Secure Exchange 2020.
Schools offering Cambridge O Level Global Perspectives can access resources, courses and build online communities through our Online Learning area.
You can access the Online Learning area here.
From 2020, we have made some changes to the wording and layout of the front covers of our question papers to reflect the new Cambridge International branding and to make instructions clearer for candidates - learn more.
