Cambridge International held a forum in Saudi Arabia recently to help bring science to life for primary school children.
Exploring the theme ‘Growing mind-sets for future success’, the forum at the end of April focussed on the importance of science outside the classroom.
Over 80 children in Grades 5 and 6 at international schools in the Western region of the country attended the event at Waad Academy in Jeddah, taking part in workshops and practical team activities led by expert teachers.
Waseem Al Hanbali, Cambridge International’s Regional Director for Middle East & North Africa, said: 'We want to support schools in engaging young children in science, which will ultimately benefit their entire education journey. The forum was a great way of bringing Cambridge Primary learners from different schools together, and developing ideas and skills that help relate science to everyday life.'
