Estimated entries

What are estimated entries?

Estimated entries are your centre’s best projection of the number of candidates that will be entered for an exam in a particular series. They are free and do not commit your centre in any way.

We do not collect estimated entries for all qualifications – only those where we send you pre-release materials as hardcopy. We use estimated entries to work out the number of question papers and exam materials you will need for these early exams/assessments.

You do not submit any candidate details with your estimated entries, so you still need to submit final entries.

Working out your estimated entries

If you are unsure whether you are going to enter any candidates for a particular exam, submit at least one estimated entry. This will make sure you receive one set of early exam materials.

Estimated entry deadline

The deadlines for submitting estimated entries are as follows:

Exam series Deadline
June 10 October
November 10 May

How do I make estimated entries?

Estimated entries must be submitted using the estimated entry form, available from the ‘support materials’ section of Cambridge International Direct.

We let you know when the estimated entry forms are available via the Cambridge Exams Officer eNewsletter. Complete the estimated entry form and send it to info@cambridgeinternational.org by the relevant deadline.
