Janet Morris has worked in international education since first joining Cambridge International in 2009. She is responsible for our relationship with over 10 000 Cambridge schools in 160 countries around the globe, ensuring Cambridge schools are listened to and have the support they need. She manages the organisation’s nine regional teams, customer support, business development, marketing and communications.
From April to December 2018 Janet was interim Chief Executive of Cambridge International’s sister organisation, OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA), a leading UK awarding body that provides GCSEs and A Levels as well as vocational qualifications to UK schools and colleges. She was responsible for delivering the June exam series and building a stronger relationship with the regulator.
Janet has a strong background in general management, business development, marketing and communications. Before joining Cambridge International, she worked as a consultant in a number of leadership roles in commercial, public and not-for-profit organisations, some of which were in the education sector.
Earlier in her career, Janet worked in the international aviation sector. She was responsible for the business development and marketing of London's airports during a period of rapid growth. Janet studied in Oxford and London and has qualifications in international business, research, assessment and marketing.
