Arkansas
Arkansas pays exam fees for Cambridge students and grants diplomas, graduation credits, and weighted credits with approved Cambridge courses and exams. Students can earn a Diploma with Merit by passing three Cambridge Advanced exams, or a Diploma with Distinction by earning the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma. Students who succeed in Cambridge courses and exams qualify for Arkansas scholarships including ACCESS to Acceleration Scholarship, Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship Program, and Arkansas Governor’s Scholars Program.
Cambridge is in the ‘Readiness’ indicator for school accountability, contributing to 20% of the school grade.
California
California may cover exam fees, grant graduation credits with approved Cambridge courses and exams, give students weighted honors points in the US/CSU systems, and fund teacher professional development.
Connecticut
Connecticut awards school accountability points for Cambridge International AS & A Level. Cambridge courses and exams are aligned with Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Students may earn the Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma with qualifying grades on approved Cambridge International AS & A Level language exams.
Florida
Florida pays exam fees for Cambridge students, gives scholarships for qualifying Cambridge students, grants diplomas, graduation credits, and the seal of biliteracy with approved International courses and exams, and gives incentives to Cambridge teachers and schools. Indiana
Indiana pays exam fees for eligible Cambridge students, grants diplomas and graduation credits for Cambridge courses and exams, and gives incentives to teachers. Public colleges and universities in Indiana award college credit for passing grades of E(e) or higher for Cambridge International AS & A Level exam grades. Indiana students who earn the Cambridge AICE Diploma are guaranteed admission at ALL Indiana public colleges and universities.
In addition, the new state budget for school years 2025–26 and 2026–27 provides funds for:
- Free piloting of Cambridge education programs
- Exam fees for up to 3 Cambridge Advanced exams per student every year
- Teacher resources and professional development
- School bonus of $2,495 per public school student who earns a Cambridge AICE Diploma

New York
