Cambridge IGCSE Chinese as a Second Language develops practical communication skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is suitable for learners who already have a working knowledge of the language and who want to consolidate their understanding to progress their education or career. They will gain a level of practical communication ideal for everyday use, which can also form the basis for further, more in-depth language study.
We have updated Cambridge IGCSE Chinese as a Second Language as part of our rolling review programme to make sure that it meets the needs of our schools.
To help you deliver the updated syllabus, we are developing a comprehensive support package including schemes of work, resource lists and specimen paper answers. These resources will be available via the Teacher Support site. A textbook prepared by a Core Team Publisher will also be available.
