Philip Parker was appointed Director, Business Performance in August 2022. He leads the teams responsible for internal business performance, governance, quality and risk management, regulation, EDIB, and our transformation programmes and projects. He is also responsible for our external compliance functions including access arrangements, safeguarding, inspections, special considerations, exam security, malpractice and centre monitoring.
Philip has worked in education for most of his career. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Corporate Affairs at Cambridge International for over eight years. Before joining Cambridge, Philip was a civil servant at the England’s Department for Education for over 20 years, advising on curriculum, literacy & numeracy, inspection & accountability, financial propriety, and security policies, as well as leading national government programmes: Building Schools for the Future, and PE & School Sport for Young People.
