Visit a Cambridge International School: US Demonstration Centers

Group of three students

To see how the Cambridge International curriculum works firsthand, we invite you to sign up for a live showcase of one of our Demonstration Center schools.

If you are interested in attending a showcase, please email us at EventsUSA@cambridgeinternational.org.

What to expect on a visit

Virtual showcase events will include a tour of the school, how Cambridge program can be implemented, Cambridge classroom observations, and a practical Q&A session with the Cambridge school team. The showcases will last about two to two and a half hours. In general, on a tour you will:

  • Observe 3 or more Cambridge classrooms in key subjects
  • Talk to experienced school administrators about implementing Cambridge programs
  • Discuss curriculum and pedagogy with Cambridge teachers
  • Speak to students from Cambridge International classrooms
  • Find out more about the Cambridge Pathway
  • Learn how to implement the Cambridge program
  • Learn how Cambridge International improves outcomes

Who should visit Demonstration Centers

  • Administrators and teachers from newly registered Cambridge International schools or districts who are looking for support with implementation
  • Schools or districts who want to learn about Cambridge International

Attributes of demonstration centers

Demonstration Centers must meet our highest standards in 5 key areas:

1. Mission and educational values

  • The school has a strong mission statement which is exemplified throughout the school.

2. Management and leadership

  • The senior management team have used Cambridge International to transform their school.
  • The diversity of the school community is reflected in the diversity and inclusivity of the Cambridge program.
  • Evidence is clear of the Cambridge School Leader standards (PDF, 778KB) in practice.

3. Teaching and learning

  • The school demonstrates a clear commitment to achievement for all.
  • Cambridge Teacher and Learner attributes are practiced.
  • Teachers are able to articulate their transformative journey with Cambridge.

4. Physical environment

  • The physical environment demonstrates that the school is leading the implementation of the Cambridge Pathway.

5. Data

  • The school can show how they collate and use data to improve learner outcomes.
