Help
The critical friendship of a school-based mentor, an experienced and trusted colleague, is a significant part of the learning experience for every Cambridge Professional Development Qualification (Cambridge PDQ) candidate.
We expect the mentor to support the mentee in various ways e.g. through structured professional dialogue, formative observation and sharing of professional knowledge.
Mentoring is integral to the individual, collaborative and school-based elements of the programme and helps to develop a successful professional learning community and culture across the school.
A guide for mentors
This guide will help you to prepare for mentoring and to mentor your mentees successfully to meet everyone’s needs and expectations.
