Cambridge IGCSE Religious Studies promotes an enquiring, critical and sympathetic approach to the study of religion. It introduces the challenging and varied nature of religion through the study of Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
The syllabus develops learners’:
- knowledge and understanding of religious beliefs, practices, festivals and rites of passage
- knowledge and understanding of religious concepts
- awareness of how religion influences patterns of belief and behaviour
- awareness of the importance of religion to individuals and communities.
