Aspire Private British School in Paphos, Cyprus, has been entering candidates for Cambridge qualifications as private candidates for a number of years. They have now registered as a Cambridge Associate School and are delighted to be the 750th Cambridge school in Europe. Principal Sharon Hadjiyiakoumi shares her experience with us.
In March we were invited to the Ministry of Education in Italy to share our experience of working with Italian schools – specifically those in the state sector – and to talk generally about the future of education in the country.

We have recently launched 12 Cambridge School Communities in India and are delighted to see that this number is growing across South Asia. These communities allow Cambridge schools to interact with each other, share resources and best practice, raise concerns directly with a Cambridge representative, and come up with solutions to common issues.

Cambridge has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with one of Vietnam’s most prestigious state schools, the Chu Van An Hanoi High School, making it the first Vietnamese state school to offer Cambridge International A Levels.

Cambridge Assessment International Education has signed a new associate agreement with Emkan Education in Saudi Arabia.
Around 90 students in Egypt took part in a science-focused Cambridge forum in April. The forum was designed to increase students’ confidence in their own ability to achieve.
