Despatching scripts for Cambridge Pre-U in the UK

We send you yellow labels to return scripts for regulated Cambridge Pre-U syllabuses, including Cambridge Pre-U externally examined coursework components.

You will receive one label for every 60 candidates for each component. If you have more than 60 candidate scripts, pack the first 60 candidate scripts in one packet with the first label and the second 60 candidate scripts in another packet with the second label. Split the attendance register so it matches the scripts in each packet.

You should use the Yellow Label Service to return these scripts to us. The Yellow Label Service is a traceable collection service which is operated by the Department for Education. For instructions on how to use this service visit the Gov.uk website. Please use the despatch log to keep a record of all your despatches. Make sure the log is completed before Parcelforce collects your scripts. Hand the grey script envelope to the Parcelforce driver.

If your labels do not arrive in time or are lost or damaged, you can generate emergency labels through Cambridge International Direct. Download our guidance for step-by-step instructions.

White bar-coded Label

For all other Cambridge syllabuses you will receive a white bar-coded label. You must return these scripts using a secure method that provides a tracking facility as soon as each exam is finished. If this is not possible you must despatch all the scripts you have at least once a week. See our despatching scripts page for more information.
