The Macedonian government wanted to introduce new, internationally benchmarked (yet locally relevant) curricula in maths and science for all state primary schools (Grades 1-9).
Their aim was to improve learning outcomes in these key subjects and enable learners to be better prepared for secondary school whether leading to higher education or employment opportunities.
Working with the Bureau for Development of Education (BDE) we adapted the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Secondary 1 programmes to meet the needs of the Macedonian education system. We also delivered teacher training programmes to ensure teachers were fully prepared to introduce the new curricula.
