Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests are internal assessments designed for use in the classroom. They provide valid assessment of knowledge, skills and understanding in English as a first or second language, mathematics and science.
You can administer Progression Tests at any time in the year, as many times as needed. They are great for tracking and reviewing your learners’ progress over time and will enable you to give structured feedback to learners and provide evidence of learning to parents and school leaders.
The results will provide detailed information about the performance of each of your learners and the understanding of your class overall. They will enable you to compare the strengths and weaknesses of individuals and groups and identify where to focus further teaching.
Progression tests are available for Cambridge schools teaching:
Administer past papers to check your learners' understanding, identify areas for development and measure their progress over time.
Baseline assessments that will provide an objective view of your students’ strengths and abilities in key areas, helping you shape your teaching to meet their learning needs.
