Outstanding Cambridge learners - MENA

The Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding Cambridge Learners is designed to attract and reward top Cambridge learners from across the Middle East & North Africa.

About the scheme

Universities participating in the scheme will provide academic scholarships ranging from 50 to 100 per cent to successful applicants who have received an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award from Cambridge International.

The scholarships, awarded across three different categories, are applied only to tuition fees and do not cover travel, accommodation, books, food or other costs.

The number of scholarships available in each category is limited, and they are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The criteria vary for each participating university. Anyone interested in applying must contact the relevant university for more information.

The three categories of scholarship are as follows:

Cambridge Top in the World winners — 100 per cent academic scholarship

This is a full academic scholarship for the first academic year on any undergraduate programme.

Eligible candidates must have received the following awards from Cambridge International:

  • ‘Top in the World’ award for an academic subject at Cambridge International A Level
  • ‘Top in the World’ award for an academic subject at Cambridge International AS Level.

Outstanding Cambridge Learners — 75 per cent academic scholarship

This is a 75 per cent academic scholarship for the first academic year on any undergraduate programme.

Eligible candidates must have received the following awards from Cambridge International:

  • ‘Top in the Country’ award for a minimum of one Cambridge International AS or A Level
  • Or
  • Any ‘Best Across’ award for three or more Cambridge International A Levels; or four Cambridge International AS Levels; or seven or more Cambridge IGCSEs.

High Achievers — 50 per cent academic scholarship

This is a 50 per cent academic scholarship for the first academic year on any undergraduate programme.

Candidates who have a minimum of two Cambridge International A Levels at Grade A or above are eligible.
