Online Introductory professional development is designed for teachers who are new to Cambridge International or to a specific qualification or programme. It introduces teachers to Cambridge International syllabuses and curriculum frameworks and enables greater confidence in their delivery.
Online Introductory courses are 5 weeks long and teachers should expect to spend 3 - 5 hours per week on the course.
Successful completion of this course is based on participation in collaborative activities with teachers from around the world. The discussions and activities each week are in groups. You do not need to be online at a particular time of day for our online courses, but we recommend that you access the course every day. To help you manage your time and aid collaboration, we provide clear guidelines so you know which days to carry out the activities for each week.
Participants who complete key weekly activities and engage fully in discussions throughout the course will receive a certificate.

This training will be delivered in English. All candidates should have English language competence comparable to Level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We recommend a minimum requirement of 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System. Further information may be obtained through the Council of Europe website.
