Introductory professional development

Introductory professional development is designed for teachers who are new to Cambridge International or to a specific qualification or programme. It introduces teachers to Cambridge International syllabuses and curriculum frameworks and enables greater confidence in their delivery. 

Teachers will typically: 

• learn about the syllabuses and curriculum frameworks and key content for teaching 
• become familiar with the Cambridge International approach to teaching and learning 
• understand the syllabus aims and assessment objectives 
• reflect on a range of teaching approaches, and how to use these in planning
  
• review endorsed resources that are available to support teaching 
• share ideas with other Cambridge International teachers.
