The second of our Cambridge Schools Conference series exploring the theme ‘Creating the conditions for success’ was held at the Hilton hotel in Colombo on the 27-28 November 2018. Through keynote presentations, workshops, breakout and panel sessions, the conference explored, reflected on and discussed:
Delegates heard keynote speeches from Valerie Hannon on ‘What will success mean in our changing world’, Professor Amanda Kirby on ‘Identifying and supporting diverse talents in all – a whole school approach’, Professor Jonathan Glazzard on ‘Whole school approach to mental health’ and Amy Burke and Kevin Hawkins as our final keynote speakers on ‘Shifting the focus: finding the balance in teaching and learning’. We also welcomed a panel of local Cambridge International students discussing what they believe they need to be successful for the future.
