The Cambridge Pre-U Short Course in French enables learners to broaden their programmes beyond their major subject specialisms. It is a one-year course designed to follow GCSE or Cambridge IGCSE.
Cambridge Pre-U Short Courses in languages are designed for learners who want to continue with the study of languages in their first year in the sixth form, and offer an advanced qualification in languages as part of their application to university.
We are withdrawing Cambridge Pre-U Short Course French (1342). The last examination will be June 2018. We communicated this decision to schools in February 2016.
The syllabus year refers to the year in which the examination will be taken.
