Cambridge O Level German is designed for learners who already have a working knowledge of the language and who want to consolidate, and develop further, their understanding in order to progress in their academic or professional career. They will learn how to use German effectively in the type of situations, and German-speaking environments, that they will encounter in their daily lives.
The aim is to enable learners to achieve greater fluency, accuracy and confidence in the written language and to achieve a level of practical communication which can also form the basis for further, more in-depth language study.
We are withdrawing Cambridge O Level German (3025). The last examination for this subject will be November 2017. You may be interested in Cambridge IGCSE German (0525) as a possible alternative qualification.
The syllabus year refers to the year in which the examination will be taken.
