Cambridge International AS Level Spanish - Language (AS Level only) (8685)

We have redeveloped our Cambridge International AS and A Level Spanish offer to make sure there is smoother progression from Cambridge IGCSE based on learners' level of Spanish and a closer alignment with the CEFR framework. We are withdrawing Cambridge International AS Level Spanish Language (8685), Spanish First Language (8665), Spanish Literature (8673) and A Level Spanish (9719) to replace them with our newly designed Cambridge International AS Level Spanish Language (8022) and A Level Spanish Language & Literature (9844) syllabuses.

The last assessment of Cambridge International AS Level Spanish Language (8685), Spanish First Language (8665), Spanish Literature (8673) and A Level Spanish (9719) will be November 2023. The first assessment of the new Cambridge International AS Level Spanish Language (8022) and Cambridge International A Level Spanish Language & Literature (9844) syllabuses will be June 2024. We communicated this change to schools in May 2021.
