The new 2023 Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests are ready to download from the lower secondary support site.
Marked by teachers in your school, you can use them to check learners’ progress during Stages 3 through to 6 inclusive in English as a First or Second Language, Mathematics and Science.
This year, we will also replace the existing Gold, Silver and Bronze performance bands that we currently apply to Cambridge Progression Tests (Stages 7 to 9) with the following new bands:
The new performance bands automatically appear in the Reporting dashboard when you upload Cambridge Progression Test results to the lower secondary support site.
To get started, download each test and associated mark schemes from the individual subject pages on the Cambridge Lower Secondary support site. We have also updated our user guides on how to use and interpret the new performance bands – visit the ‘Additional information’ area on the Cambridge Progression Tests pages.
Cambridge Progression Tests are optional and included in the programme fee for registered Cambridge schools (there is no extra charge). We produce new progression tests annually so the next set will be available in January 2024.
