We have updated the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design syllabus to offer a broad choice of media and approaches so that candidates can produce a personal response and schools can play to their strengths in terms of staff expertise and interests.
We reviewed Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design at the same time as the Cambridge International AS & A Level Art & Design syllabus. We made some changes to this course to make the progression to Cambridge International AS & A Level Art & Design clearer.
We have created a range of new and updated resources for this syllabus. The Scheme of Work helps you to plan your course and prepare your students for the examination. The updated and re-designed Example Candidate Responses, Guidance from the Principal Examiner and Learner Guide should help both you and your learners to understand the assessment criteria and standards. These resources are available via the Teacher Support site.
A textbook prepared by a leading educational publisher will also be available.
