Over 100 principals attended Cambridge Principals Forums in Accra, Ghana on 16 May and Lagos, Nigeria on 19 May 2017.
The events, held in partnership with the British Council, gave educators an update on new developments from Cambridge, and offered a platform for principals to network and share ideas. Presenters included global directors, Janet Morris, Director, International Network, Cambridge International Examinations; Neil Musk, Director, Operations, Cambridge International Examinations and Sara Pierson, Director of Examinations, British Council who were in the region to meet with key stakeholders, partners and schools.
Janet Morris gave an update on the growth of Cambridge programmes in Ghana and Nigeria, while Neil Musk provided valuable information on exam security and operations, highlighting the extensive security measures Cambridge undertakes to maintain robust exam integrity and quality.
Other presenters were Dominic Hudson, Regional Exams Marketing and Business Development Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa, British Council, presenting on the British Council Partner School Global Network; Dr Charles Yeboah who gave an update from Cambridge International Schools Group, Ghana (CISG-GH) and Muyiwa Bamgbose, Partner Schools Global Network (PSGN), Steering Committee Chairman & Head of School, Educational Advancement Centre (EAC).
