In April, Sarah Zhao joined us as Schools Development Manager for South China. She is based in Guangzhou and forms part of our larger Northeast Asia team, reporting to Regional Director Eric Ding.
Sarah will be working to build relationships with schools, key educational institutions and government authorities in South China, as well as strengthening ties with our long-term partners in the region.
For the past fourteen years, Sarah has worked for the British Council, China, most recently as an Education Projects Manager. During this time, she has worked in the South China region with the government, universities and schools, gaining a rich experience in relationship management, teacher training and school leadership development. Sarah is a qualified English Language teacher, and gained her Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) in 2010.
