As a world leader in providing international programmes and qualifications for school education, we are expanding our international team, including in Europe. Having a dedicated local team is an important part of supporting our growing community of over 500 Cambridge schools, and working effectively with universities and governments.
We are delighted to announce that Martin Nuttall joined us on Monday 19 May as Regional Director, Europe. Martin is based in Cambridge, UK. He joins Nick Mazur, who is also based in Cambridge and Ann Gibson, who is based in Greece.
Martin has extensive experience of education, having taught English for 18 years in Japan, Germany, Bulgaria and the UK. More recently, he has spent the last 13 years working for our sister organisation, Cambridge Assessment English, in a variety of roles. Martin is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied Modern Languages (French and German). He also speaks Spanish and Japanese.
Martin says, “I am really pleased to be joining Cambridge Assessment International Education at such an exciting time. I look forward to working with our growing number of schools in Europe to provide them with world-class qualifications and support our community of learners.”
Martin will lead our growing Europe team, as well as building and strengthening relationships with schools, universities, governments and key education organisations including publishers and the British Council. His appointment will support the growing popularity of Cambridge programmes and qualifications in the region.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ann Gibson, who will be retiring from Cambridge Assessment International Education at the end of July. We are incredibly grateful for all her hard work and dedication and we wish her well for the future.
