Cambridge took part in the ECIS (European Council of International Schools) Leadership Conference in Brussels, Belgium from 8-12 April 2015.
ECIS was host to heads of international schools from Europe and around the world and both Regional Director, Martin Nuttall and Senior Schools Development Manager, Nick Mazur were available to take questions from schools.
As main sponsors of the event, we delivered two presentations in support of schools. Director of Education, Tristian Stobie, spoke on ‘Creative curriculum thinking’ exploring the balance needed to achieve both subject breadth and interdisciplinary depth in schools.
Lee Davis, Assistant Director, Professional Development, presented the range of professional development services and offerings available through Cambridge Assessment International Education. This talk focused on how schools can become accredited centres to provide a suite of newly-launched Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications to their own and visiting staff.
Cambridge will also be attending the ECIS Annual Conference in November 2015 in Barcelona. We look forward to seeing many of our schools there!
