We are happy to announce that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is now awarding students credit for Cambridge International A Level Global Perspectives & Research (GPR). Students who receive a grade of A or A* will be awarded nine units of general elective credit.
The skills gained through study of Global Perspectives & Research enable students to meet the demands of twenty-first century learning and to make a successful transition to study in higher education. “We particularly value the independence of thought, critical thinking and research and inquiry skills that GPR develops, and believe that it is a promising addition to the courses of study that prepare students well for post-secondary education,” states the MIT Office of Admissions.
We are also pleased to announce that the University of Maryland, College Park is now awarding students credit for both Cambridge International AS Level & A Level Global Perspectives & Research. Students will receive three credits for AS Level GPR and six credits for A Level with a grade C or higher.
