More students than ever before will collect their Cambridge Assessment International Education results today, following a surge in popularity of Cambridge qualifications around the world.
Globally there has been 15% growth across all Cambridge qualifications this year, including 8% growth in entries for Cambridge International A Levels and 23% for Cambridge IGCSEs.
There are now more than 12,000 Cambridge schools around the world in over 140 countries that made over 1.6 million exam entries for Cambridge qualifications in June 2014.
The most popular Cambridge IGCSEs are: First Language English, Maths and Physics, which have risen by 28%, accounting for over 300,000 entries. The most popular Cambridge International A Levels are: Maths, Physics and Chemistry, which have risen by 8%, accounting for over 150,000 entries.
