Keep up to date with news from Cambridge and its schools around the world.
The pandemic has continued to disrupt teaching and learning this year, and we understand that this has caused a great deal of uncertainty for centres and candidates. To help you prepare for results day, we have a range of guidance to help and support you.
All candidates will receive their results at the same time, regardless of whether they sat their exams or are receiving school-assessed grades.
Results will be available on the following dates:
Cambridge International AS & A Level
Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level
*UTC is Coordinated Universal Time and is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. GMT is Greenwich Mean Time.
Dates of results release may be different in countries where Cambridge is the national examination system and administered by a public body, such as a ministry of education. Students in these countries should contact their school to find out when they will receive their results.
To help you think through how to plan and manage results day at your centre, we have prepared some information and guidance on Managing results day.
All results will be released via Cambridge International Direct (Direct) regardless of whether candidates sat their exams or are receiving school-assessed grades.
We also send you a printed results despatch. Results day can be very busy so it helps if you prepare in advance.
To access your results from Direct, download the relevant instructions:
Accessing your results - information for UK and International centres (PDF, 325KB)
Accessing your results - information for Cambridge Associates (PDF, 326KB)
If you need to make any amendments to statements of results, complete and return Replacement Statement of Results / Certificate Application - Results and Certificates - Form 12 (PDF, 633KB).
We offer a service that allows candidates to access their results online. You can control which of your candidates get access to this site via Direct. To find out more watch our video or download the relevant guidance notes:
Administering the candidate results service - information for UK and International centres (PDF, 223KB)
Administering the candidate results service - information for Cambridge Associates (PDF, 254KB)
If a candidate needs their provisional results to be sent straight to a particular institution, they can complete and send us Results and certificates - form 9 (PDF, 1MB). We will send the provisional statement of results to their chosen educational institution on the day that results are released. Results are produced using the name given for the candidate at the time of their exam.
You need to be aware of the grading system for group awards so you can answer queries from your candidates when they see their statements of results. See the relevant sections of the Cambridge Guide to Making Entries for more information on:
The Cambridge Guide to Making Entries is available to download from the 'Support Materials' section of Direct.
You must not tell candidates the overall final grade that you have allocated. Students must not know the final grade that you have allocated before results are released.
