When you have entered all the school-assessed grades for a syllabus, click the ‘check for errors’ button. The system will highlight any errors such as missed grades.
If this happens, correct the errors and then the ‘send for approval’ button will appear.
You can only send syllabuses for approval one at a time. Once you are happy with the grades, send them for approval by syllabus.
When you have sent the grades for approval, the Head of Centre will need to log in to the system to view and approve each syllabus submission.
If you have not set your Head of Centre up on the system, you cannot send grades for approval. To find out how to do this read our guidance on managing user accounts.
Once your Head of Centre has approved grades for a syllabus you cannot make any changes in the Grade Submission System.
In order for the Head of Centre to approve grades for each syllabus they need to agree to a Head of Centre Declaration. The declaration is built into the approval process onto the system. Your Head of Centre must approve grades by 18 November 2021.
Please check your grades carefully before sending them for approval, as you will not be able to change them after your Head of Centre has submitted them to us.
You will still be able to download the grades you have submitted, including once the submission window is closed.
