For the November 2020 series we know there are coursework, speaking, and practical components that your candidates may not be able to complete according to the syllabus requirements. To support you, and to make sure as many of your candidates as possible can meet all the requirements of their chosen syllabus, we have put together some information and guidance.
Wherever possible, candidates should complete all coursework, practical, and speaking components according to the requirements set out in the syllabus. However, we understand this may not be possible because of circumstances caused by Covid-19.
You must apply for permission to use an adjustment to the components listed here (PDF, 419KB) by 21 September. To find out how to do this, visit our Special consideration page.
For the components listed here (PDF, 419KB) (pages 5–9), we cannot make an adjustment to the requirements of the component and we have included further guidance for each component. If your candidate cannot complete one of these components because of the current circumstances, see our Candidate Absent from a component for acceptable reasons information in section 5.5 of the Cambridge Handbook.
